  • Garnet Elementary After School Program

    Semester-long After School Program for elementary-age students from the Garnet Neighborhood, focusing on relationship building through homework help, tutoring, social/ emotional learning skills, and fun activities/games.

    Where: 1690 N Placentia Ave Fullerton, CA 92831

    When: Monday-Thursday 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. (two separate groups of students enrolled in 1.5 hour long sessions (2:30-4:00, 4:00-5:30).

    Who: 1st Grade - 6th Grade

    Commitment: 1-2 hours a week for a semester

  • Maple Teen Center

  • TILT: Outdoor Adventure Program

    The TILT outdoor adventure summer program is a gang prevention program that provides outdoor adventure experiences around southern california for youth in 7th-9th grade . Students participate in a 6 week intensive summer program that utilizes trauma informed curriculum paired with outdoor adventure activities like fishing, rock climbing, water sports, hiking, and camping. Students are challenged to choose thriving patterns of life over destructive ones and are given opportunities to develop healthy relationships and belonging.

    When: June 22nd - July 27th

    Wednesdays 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    Who: 7th Grade - 9th Grade

    Commitment: 7 hours on Wednesdays

  • Maple ESL Tutor

    ESL Tutors assist neighbors individually or in small groups & help improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in English. These tutors perform activities like monitoring student progress, identifying areas needing improvement, helping with understanding and preparing students for tests.

    Where: 601 E. Valencia Dr. Fullerton, CA 92832

    When: Monday, Thursday, or Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.

    Who: Mamas Group

    Commitment: 1 hour a week for a semester

  • Translator

    Spanish, Tagalog, Korean, or Arabic Translator

    Camino Immigration Services has a diverse range of clients who request legal aid. There are occasions where Camino will need translation services to help assist our clients.

    Solidarity at times will need proficient Spanish writers to help translate copy for fliers, websites, and documents.

    Where: Online and/or 849 Bradford Ave. Placentia, CA 92870

    When: On call as needed.

    Who: Camino Immigration Services

    Commitment: Your name and contact information on the Translator List for up to a year. Solidarity/Camino staff will reach out to all contacts on the Translator List when opportunities come up. Respond with a Yes or a No to those potential opportunities.

  • Event Coordinator

    Solidarity has some major quarterly events as well as monthly neighborhood events that calls for volunteers with event coordination experience.

    We are seeking a responsible, detail minded individual who has strong interpersonal skills and excels in handling logistics.

  • One-time Event

    Solidarity’s one-time event volunteers are perfect opportunities to volunteer as an individual and/or a family.

    To pull off Solidarity’s events and love the neighbors well, we need well organized volunteers who are able to set up, tear down, clean, serve food, run game booths, etc.
